![]() ![]() I would suggest someone else see a professional asap if this were occurring with their piercing, no matter who did it. And I normally don’t feel needles, cuts, tattoos, etc. I also hit a nerve doing one piercing that makes it extremely painful to change the piercing. And I have gotten infections, sadly I get them regardless due to chronic health conditions, but my risk is much worse this way. You risk infection, nerve damage, disfigurement, or even death. But I would never, ever suggest anyone else follow my lead. *For example I started self piercing during the pandemic. Perhaps not globally, or even nationally, but in the piercing (and tattoo) community I’d like to think we understand and appreciate the matter all that much more. ![]() I’d like to think everyone agreed that we all deserve to make decisions regarding our bodies by ourselves. But even then, though you may disagree with the person’s decision, it is THEIR body. You have the right to but is it helpful or responsible in any way? What would be useful is writing or commenting regarding things to know prior to getting pierced, ways to ensure a safe piercing (something I myself don’t follow properly since I self pierce, but I would never suggest anyone do the same, it’s dangerous and I am aware of the risks, including loss of body parts and death), proper after care or educating others on the possible cultural/religious aspects of such a piercing and whether they should research more on that topic (if they so care to make socially responsible decisions). My request to the author, or anyone else thinking of putting in their two cents regarding consenting adults receiving a piercing based solely on their age, race, sexuality, gender, career, parental status, ethnicity, religion, etc. I personally don’t believe maturity can be assumed solely by age, not to mention piercings aren’t permanent (save for the possibility of scars). One might even venture they are more mature than the average 18 to make such a decision on any person- be it a traditional nose, septum, Monroe, nipple, tongue, genital, etc. If your reader is older they may be on their third or fourth lap already, maybe fifth (one can only hope). person of any consenting age needs to be told they’re allowed to get a nose piercing? And to suggest otherwise is beyond offensive, it’s asinine! By the age of 40 a person has lived to the age of consent twice, and is working on another lap. Just wear tiny white studs with light makeup.Įxcuse me?!? What woman/man/non-binary etc. ![]() In case, you are looking for a simple, and cute look, this look is definitely for you.
